I made the drive from Columbia Missouri all the way to north KC to get my new Kia. I had been disappointed with the Kia brand because my local dealer sales and service teams have been disappointing... But what a refreshing surprise it was to work with Oakes Kia and Dom Taibi. From the get-go I told him my price point. And my family wants and needs. Dom put the work for us and worked for me. Not for a bonus, not for a dealer. For my price point and my needs. His knowledge of the product and the financial tools available to us was fantastic and him and his team came through with a great offer. We had a really great experience buying our car. My husband is very picky, but Dominic was super patient and went above and beyond to help us get exactly the car we wanted. He even went to another dealership to get it for us, which we really appreciated. Carlos in finance was also a big help—he worked with us to get the monthly payment where we wanted it. Well, I made way to the dealership for service on a 2014 Soul with 97K miles on the odom that had lost its brakes. I was happily surprised to see that it had changed hands and was now an OAKES dealership. Long story short, I ended up driving out in a new 2025 Soul with 7 miles on the odom. The entire process including dealing with Josh in service and Justin in sales was everything a car buying experience should be. Easy, respectful, and honest. It should be noted that 97% of the process was accomplished via text and phone call with Justin who was great to work with. I am extremely grateful to everyone for the experience and can't speak highly enough of the OAKES ownership in Olathe - big win for us in the southland.

I came to the dealership with an idea of the car I wanted, but I also wanted the chance to look around. I was able to do this freely without feeling pressured - just a few friendly check-ins from salespeople to make sure I was doing okay. Oakes Kia had a 2024 Mustang GT with all the options I was looking for. I have been in automotive sales and sales management for 6 years. So I am incredibly critical when on this side of the transaction. That being said this was the best car buying experience I have had in my life and its not even close. Blake Reynolds was my salesperson and he was amazing. Responded to all my questions promptly and with enthusiasm. Sent me a great video of the car before my arrival. Had it cleaned and full of gas when I got there. He had me geniuinely excited to do business with them. Blake and his manager Christian were very transparent and fair during negotiations. I geniunely feel like I got a great deal. Since I am in the business I am very familiar with vehicle values, so not only do I feel like I got a great deal, I actually know I got a great deal so if you're considering shopping here I can tell you it is most likely a great deal! They are a volume dealer so they don't try to make much money per client. That is great for the client lol. This is absolutely the place to buy your next car and if you really want to have a great time while doing it ask for Blake!

Lacey did such a great job showing us the car before hand with our personalized video that we knew who to look for before we got to the dealership, and we knew exactly what to expect with the car. She did a great job with the credit application as well. Ramzi also did a fantastic job explains our financing options, warranty, and GAP insurance. Working with Bryan was great. He was super personable and made everything super quick and easy! I would 1000% work with Bryan again and recommend anyone I know to work with him! Lyric was very nice and knowledgeable. My only feedback is it felt like meeting with him took forever. It was already 7pm and I sat in his office for over an hour, which made me get home super late in the evening. I feel like the process definitely could be sped up.
