I made the drive from Columbia Missouri all the way to north KC to get my new Kia. I had been disappointed with the Kia brand because my local dealer sales and service teams have been disappointing... But what a refreshing surprise it was to work with Oakes Kia and Dom Taibi. From the get-go I told him my price point. And my family wants and needs. Dom put the work for us and worked for me. Not for a bonus, not for a dealer. For my price point and my needs. His knowledge of the product and the financial tools available to us was fantastic and him and his team came through with a great offer. We had a really great experience buying our car. My husband is very picky, but Dominic was super patient and went above and beyond to help us get exactly the car we wanted. He even went to another dealership to get it for us, which we really appreciated. Carlos in finance was also a big help—he worked with us to get the monthly payment where we wanted it. We went to another dealership looking for a deal on a car, we were going to go with a telluride (over what we wanted to pay) and then we had a call from a salesman called dominic, he wanted to get us a better deal and found us one that fit perfectly in our regime AND fit our rubric. The finance manager- lyric, had found us a deal on a warranty that had saved us tons of money and kept it right around what we wanted to pay a month. The new car came with a full tank of gas, added features, and it was detailed/cleaned before we were sent home. This place has also helped out our family by helping repair a blown engine on a car under a good warranty. Would recommend, this was a great experience and they managed to do all of this within an hour.

We had a great experience with the finance manager at Oakes Kia. He was extremely friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. He took the time to clearly explain the extra warranty options and answered all of our questions with patience. After a lot of discussion, he was even able to offer us a more affordable warranty option that worked better for our budget. On top of that, he was very personable and we had some genuinely good chats during the process. We left his office feeling well-informed, satisfied, and confident about our purchase. Well, I made way to the dealership for service on a 2014 Soul with 97K miles on the odom that had lost its brakes. I was happily surprised to see that it had changed hands and was now an OAKES dealership. Long story short, I ended up driving out in a new 2025 Soul with 7 miles on the odom. The entire process including dealing with Josh in service and Justin in sales was everything a car buying experience should be. Easy, respectful, and honest. It should be noted that 97% of the process was accomplished via text and phone call with Justin who was great to work with. I am extremely grateful to everyone for the experience and can't speak highly enough of the OAKES ownership in Olathe - big win for us in the southland.

I came to the dealership with an idea of the car I wanted, but I also wanted the chance to look around. I was able to do this freely without feeling pressured - just a few friendly check-ins from salespeople to make sure I was doing okay. I eventually found the car I had in mind and went inside to start the process. Kyle assisted me with everything, from the test drive to the paperwork. Oakes Kia had a 2024 Mustang GT with all the options I was looking for. I have been in automotive sales and sales management for 6 years. So I am incredibly critical when on this side of the transaction. That being said this was the best car buying experience I have had in my life and its not even close. Blake Reynolds was my salesperson and he was amazing. Responded to all my questions promptly and with enthusiasm. Sent me a great video of the car before my arrival. Had it cleaned and full of gas when I got there. He had me geniuinely excited to do business with them. Blake and his manager Christian were very transparent and fair during negotiations. I geniunely feel like I got a great deal. Since I am in the business I am very familiar with vehicle values, so not only do I feel like I got a great deal, I actually know I got a great deal so if you're considering shopping here I can tell you it is most likely a great deal! They are a volume dealer so they don't try to make much money per client. That is great for the client lol. This is absolutely the place to buy your next car and if you really want to have a great time while doing it ask for Blake!
