There are a lot of three-row crossovers out there on the market. Most perform well when it comes to everyday driving and transportation in city settings, but come up short in the off-road category. That works just fine for some drivers. There are, however, others out there in the Kansas City and Overland Park areas who want some rugged, off-road capability from their crossover.
Consider the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander, for example. Sure, it’s got three row seating, seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a plethora of advanced safety technology. That more than covers all the items on the “family friendly” checklist.
The 2020 Outlander also has an available super all-wheel drive system and a host of other performance options that give you the freedom to tackle the toughest off-road conditions. So for those who say you can’t have your cake and eat it too, we say that’s utter nonsense. The 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander offers it all.

As noted earlier, the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander has third row seating and comfortably holds up to seven occupants. The crossover provides 63.3 cubic feet of cargo capacity for owners and drivers. Luxury features are available on the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander, as well. Leather seating is available in gloss black with silver stitching accents. The Outlander also offers the option of power folding side mirrors, which is an invaluable feature when parking in tight spaces.
The technology hub in the 2020 Outlander is the seven-inch touchscreen system located in the center console of the crossover. You can synch your smartphone with this system via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functions. The premium Rockford Fosgate sound system option inside the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander is a must for music lovers and provides 710 watts of crystal-clear sound.
Mitsubishi also made sure to equip the 2020 Outlander with all the latest safety technology options. Adaptive cruise control, multi-view camera system, and rear cross traffic alert are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to safety tech on this vehicle.
Did we forget to mention the warranty?
How careless! We can’t even begin to imagine not noting that the 2020 Outlander comes with one of the longest and most comprehensive powertrain warranties in the industry. That’s definitely an invaluable piece of safety equipment that comes standard on the 2020 Outlander.
The 2020 Outlander is available in six different exterior paint colors: Rallye Red Metallic, Alloy Silver Metallic, Mercury Gray Metallic, Quartz Brown Metallic, Cosmic Blue Metallic and Labrador Black Metallic.
Mitsubishi performed some exterior styling tweaks on the Outlander for the 2020 model year. Both the front and rear bumpers have been redesigned, and LED running lights on the crossover are new, as well.
There are four trim levels available on the 2020 Outlander: ES 2.4, SE 2.4, SEL 2.4 and GT 3.0 AWC. All trims except for the GT come with a 2.4L I-4 engine under the hood that produces 166 horsepower and 162 lb-ft torque.
The 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander GT 3.0 AWC has a 3.0L V6 engine that increases horsepower to 224 and torque to 215 lb-ft. Mitsubishi’s “Super All Wheel Control” system is available on this model, as well.
