This was the best buying experience I have ever had at a car dealership! And definitely the best afternoon I have had in a long time! Jonah Hale and James Christopher were both a pleasure to work with and great conversationalists as well. Not only did I walk out with a new car in under 3 hours today, I feel like I came away from the experience with two new friends! Thanks guys. I highly recommend these two gentlemen and Oakes Kia. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. My garage door opener fell out of my purse but I didn't realize it until I got home. One of them called at the same time I got home saying he had found it so I went back and picked it up.

Travis in sales and Karen in finance are great. The car buying process isn't always a fun thing to do but they made it tolerable and informative. Plus they both have great personalities and carry themselves in a genuine way. Highly recommend both of them.

I brought my 2015 Kia Soul to Oakes Kia after opening a case with Kia Corporate for a faulty knock sensor issue. My service advisor, Jarrod, provided prompt updates, managed my expectations about the diagnostic timeline, and offered fair, transparent pricing. He even followed up by text to confirm communication and kept me informed without overpromising. It’s rare to find a service advisor who treats you like a partner in the process—Jarrod did exactly that. I highly recommend Oakes Kia, and if you go, ask for Jarrod—you’ll be in excellent hands.

Travis did a great job helping me find a reliable first car for my son. After visiting multiple dealerships in the KC area, I landed at Oakes with Travis. The process could not have been easier. He was very upfront and honest, which was refreshing after some of the other dealerships I visited that tried to push bad vehicles on me at a high price point. Travis did not do this. He helped me find a match with exactly what I was looking for in my price range. I would highly recommend doing business with Travis and I would personally use him again in the future.

Amazing Experience with Gloria Lillch & Dustin Hazlett! Buying a car usually ranks somewhere between filing taxes and waiting at the DMV—but not this time! Gloria Lillch completely flipped the script. She made the whole process smooth, stress-free, and even fun (which I didn’t know was possible in car sales). Gloria was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about getting me into the right car—not just any car. And her assessment partner, Dustin Hazlett, was spot-on with the details and quick to back her up with great insight. Together, they’re like the dream team of car buying — part sales pros, part comedians, and 100% legends. If you want to laugh, learn, and leave in a car you love, go see Gloria and Dustin. 10/10 would buy again (and probably crack a few more jokes while I’m at it).

Amazing service from Travis! I went in wanting a 2026 K5 and walked out with a beautiful 2025 k4, he’s very honest and open about what he thinks works best for the situation you’re in and makes you very comfortable with any car you want to look at. He makes sure you don’t get f’d over with payments and that the car is cleaned and filled before you leave with it. Very respectful person and i recommend him to any new buyer!

Gloria Lillich went above and beyond to help me pick the right car and was willing to not only listen, but provide accurate information about the vehicles we discussed. Gloria was very knowledgeable about the inventory and was willing to answer any questions/concerns I had. Del was absolutely fantastic from the moment we walked into the door. He was pleasant, accommodating and extremely helpful. We walked into one location having a handful of cars in mind to look at and after looking at several, he was accommodating to meet us at another Oakes location to look at more vehicles. He went above and beyond for us and even helped entertain our 1.5 year old as we were working through the process of purchasing a new vehicle. Purchased a used jeep via my salesman Travis Petrovich in which most communication was done online and text. Travis went above and beyond to make this transaction a smooth one via a long distance purchase. Got to the dealership, finalized paperwork, were an hour into our journey home and check engine light came on. It was a sensor and a fluke thing that can happen with any used vehicle at any dealership. This is in no way a reflection on the dealership. With that said, they went above and beyond to resolve the issue and customer service was outstanding all the way around. My jeep was then delivered to me once they were confident it had fully been resolved. Very pleased with Travis’s customer service and constant communication. Fully answered every single question. Also, happy with the dealership itself and how everything was handled. We have young drivers in our household and can see us being repeat customers for sure.

After a lot of discussion, he was even able to offer us a more affordable warranty option that worked better for our budget. Someone get Reagan a Gatorade!! This man was running around the lot in the heat like he was on a game show trying to track down every car I wanted to see. He broke down models and features, answered my questions, and somehow made buying a car feel completely stress-free. No pressure, no awkward salesman nonsense, no headache!! The service staff is always friendly and kind! However, there seemed to be some higher management there that walked through without acknowledging that I was there and speaking very unprofessionally. Great service and easy to drop off and pick up. My only watch out was that I wasn't able to make it to pick up my car before service closed (which is totally on me), and they offered to leave my keys at reception, which I accepted. When I got there though, my paperwork and keys were just sitting out for anyone to grab as they walked by. I would have preferred if they were put away somewhere and someone was at the front desk to hand them to me.

Oaks Kia is a welcoming and professional company. They are considerate of the customers wants and needs. For example I had an oil change and tune up on my car. They opened their doors a little early to let me and my baby in to start the check in process. Then proceeded to explain what all that was going to be done and what time it would be done. They also helped me transfer all of my baby items to my husband’s car so we could take my son to daycare. Customer service was so helpful and clear on what was all being done. They even went the extra mile to help me and my son. I am very grateful for the service and thoughtfulness they gave that day.

We drove all the way to Olathe from Columbia, MO because it was the only dealership we found that had the trim level and color we wanted for our new Sportage. We had several phone calls preceding our visit, and Ryan had everything ready for us to sign and the car was ready to go. Ryan took the time to put the new plates on both the front and back of the car, and went through key features with us. The finance process was a little longer than we expected as Ezra was trying to sell us an extended warranty package, but he was pleasant to work with and respectful of our wishes. Everyone was friendly and easy to work with. The only real problem we had was finding a place to park when we got there! It is a very large, busy dealership.

Ryan was professional, knowledgable and patient. Was not considering a hybrid, but with his slight convincing, we are glad we did. I was amazed at how Ryan was able to work multiple deals and still took care of our needs. Undoubtably it was because of Ryan that we purchased our first Kia. We have purchased 7 Hondas since 2001.
