Everyone was very kind to us. I would recommend this dealership to everyone. They were very efficient and patient. They answered all our questions, and we had a lot (teenager car)! They do not work on commissions so there was no pressure, no hassle, and no xx! Best experience I have ever had at a dealership!

Cam Mathis is the guy to see here at Oakes. His helpfulness from beginning to end of the process was bar none. It was my first time buying a vehicle remotely and he made the whole process so easy. All I had to do was show up grab my keys and go get some KC BBQ, at a place he recommended as well. The whole team at Oakes seems top notch but Cam is definitely among the best.

Took my 2012 Kia Sportage purchased from a friend for my grandson. Requested recalls (6) be performed and oil change, multipoint inspection and Mo vehicle inspection. Appointment set for today at 0715 but dropped off last night to Corey. Got text at 1330 that all was completed. Picked up at 1530 and visited with Corey. He is definitely a keeper! 1. Attention to detail 2. Courteous 3. kept timely updates 4. Explained all work 5. Walked me to vehicle to make certain I wasn't blocked in. This is how Customer Service should be---Thanks

I was there last Saturday and purchased my 4th new Kia from Oakes. Jonah was very eager to assist and was very helpful. He even handled my demand of test driving the car to my house to ensure it fit in my garage. After I left the lot I had something come up. I was in the market for a car and honestly expected the whole process to be stressful, but Anh made it surprisingly easy from start to finish. He took the time to figure out exactly what I was looking for, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel pressured into buying something I didn't want. What I appreciated most was how genuine he was. He was knowledgeable, patient, and easy to talk to, which made a huge difference. It never felt like he was just trying to make a sale. It felt like he actually wanted to help me find the right vehicle and make sure I left happy. We drove all the way to Olathe from Columbia, MO because it was the only dealership we found that had the trim level and color we wanted for our new Sportage. We had several phone calls preceding our visit, and Ryan had everything ready for us to sign and the car was ready to go. Ryan took the time to put the new plates on both the front and back of the car, and went through key features with us. The finance process was a little longer than we expected as Ezra was trying to sell us an extended warranty package, but he was pleasant to work with and respectful of our wishes. Everyone was friendly and easy to work with. The only real problem we had was finding a place to park when we got there! It is a very large, busy dealership.

Richard Dobbeleare in service took very great care of me. We found out there was a system error with my account but also needed my engine checked. Long story short, I was in a loaner for 40 days while the system error was corrected and received a new engine that fell under warranty. Richard made sure I did not pay a dime for my loaner since the original error was on Kia. While my car was with them, Richard communicated weekly updates with me. Anytime I have to bring my car in for maintenance, I look forward to seeing Richard. His staff is great and working with any one of them is a pleasure!

Chip Bashir appreciation comment! We had been in communication with 4 different Kia locations over the course of a week, and WOW did Chip stand out. Beyond his expertise and experience, he treated the whole process like a genuine human connection. He was personable, and you could feel the emotion in his emails. It wasn’t just about making a sale for him—it was about building a partnership. His knowledge and effort wasn’t contingent on whether we were coming in for a test drive. When we were leaning towards another location, it was solely because of the interior color. We wished that vehicle had been available at Oakes, just so we could’ve given Chip our business. But even then, Chip didn’t just stop responding to us like another location. He was truly a world apart from the others we interacted with. Recently bought a new car from Oakes and am incredibly happy with my purchase. I went in letting Tim Hodde, my sales specialist, know that what I wanted most in my car was affordability. From the very beginning he was incredibly helpful and worked with me to find what I wanted without any added pressure to spend more money than I wanted to. This was the first time while buying a car that I didn’t feel like I was being manipulated. He was very accessible throughout the experience even being available via text to answer any and all questions I had. I felt like he truly respected my financial mindset above all else. I would highly recommend working with him when looking for a car. That being said, my experience with the financing associate was probably one of the most uncomfortable experiences I’ve ever had when making any purchase in my entire life. After setting everything up with Tim, I was brought over to financing with Ramzi Alamawi. He started the experience by telling me that he saw that I was declining some of the add-ons for my car in the effort to save money. He told me he went ahead and declined most of the other add-ons but wanted to offer me the extended warranty at a discounted rate. I heard him out on his offer but soon told him that I was happy with the standard warranty and didn’t want to increase my monthly payments any further than they were already. Immediately his demeanor changed and he became visibly angry. The customer service charade completely dropped as he fumbled with the iPad pen to draw a line at the bottom of his digital whiteboard saying “okay then just sign here to decline if you don’t want it”. He further discounted the extended warranty, which I again politely declined. He told me that I was making a mistake, and that I “should have just leased this car”. He then said “I’ll just get the papers to have you sign and you can go”. He rapidly pushed paper after paper in front of me to sign with minimal explanation as to what it was I was signing. I didn’t feel like it was okay for me to ask questions and I really needed to buy a car so I signed them anyway. Again he asked if I wanted to buy the extended warranty with cash today instead of financing. I told him no and that I was happy with the three year warranty and am willing to take the risk of any repairs after that. He said “are you a gambler?” To which I replied, “I guess I am today”. He dropped a stack of papers in front of me, said “okay come here so you can pay and then you can go”, and walked out of the office to the reception desk. I picked up the papers I thought were mine to keep and left some I wasn’t sure about. After paying he handed me my receipt, said “okay here you go”, and went back to his office without another word. I would highly recommend working with Tim and everyone else that I encountered at Oakes but would caution anyone to avoid working with Ramzi Alamawi.

Well, I bought my car two months ago. The sales lady was great to work with. Take my car in for first oil, change and service department and family and fast. Then when I left, they noticed the small pedal of oil called to bring it back in and fix the filter without even asking or complaining the sub department gave me a free oil change on my VIP package. We drove all the way to Olathe from Columbia, MO because it was the only dealership we found that had the trim level and color we wanted for our new Sportage. We had several phone calls preceding our visit, and Ryan had everything ready for us to sign and the car was ready to go. Ryan took the time to put the new plates on both the front and back of the car, and went through key features with us. The finance process was a little longer than we expected as Ezra was trying to sell us an extended warranty package, but he was pleasant to work with and respectful of our wishes. Everyone was friendly and easy to work with. The only real problem we had was finding a place to park when we got there! It is a very large, busy dealership.

I was greeted when I walked in the door with a friendly smile asking how they could help me. When I was interested in test driving a car, a sales person was there shortly to help me. Listened to what I needed and I test drove the Sportage and Sorento a couple times.
