Recently bought a new car from Oakes and am incredibly happy with my purchase. I went in letting Tim Hodde, my sales specialist, know that what I wanted most in my car was affordability. From the very beginning he was incredibly helpful and worked with me to find what I wanted without any added pressure to spend more money than I wanted to. This was the first time while buying a car that I didn’t feel like I was being manipulated. He was very accessible throughout the experience even being available via text to answer any and all questions I had. I felt like he truly respected my financial mindset above all else. I would highly recommend working with him when looking for a car. That being said, my experience with the financing associate was probably one of the most uncomfortable experiences I’ve ever had when making any purchase in my entire life. After setting everything up with Tim, I was brought over to financing with Ramzi Alamawi. He started the experience by telling me that he saw that I was declining some of the add-ons for my car in the effort to save money. He told me he went ahead and declined most of the other add-ons but wanted to offer me the extended warranty at a discounted rate. I heard him out on his offer but soon told him that I was happy with the standard warranty and didn’t want to increase my monthly payments any further than they were already. Immediately his demeanor changed and he became visibly angry. The customer service charade completely dropped as he fumbled with the iPad pen to draw a line at the bottom of his digital whiteboard saying “okay then just sign here to decline if you don’t want it”. He further discounted the extended warranty, which I again politely declined. He told me that I was making a mistake, and that I “should have just leased this car”. He then said “I’ll just get the papers to have you sign and you can go”. He rapidly pushed paper after paper in front of me to sign with minimal explanation as to what it was I was signing. I didn’t feel like it was okay for me to ask questions and I really needed to buy a car so I signed them anyway. Again he asked if I wanted to buy the extended warranty with cash today instead of financing. I told him no and that I was happy with the three year warranty and am willing to take the risk of any repairs after that. He said “are you a gambler?” To which I replied, “I guess I am today”. He dropped a stack of papers in front of me, said “okay come here so you can pay and then you can go”, and walked out of the office to the reception desk. I picked up the papers I thought were mine to keep and left some I wasn’t sure about. After paying he handed me my receipt, said “okay here you go”, and went back to his office without another word. I would highly recommend working with Tim and everyone else that I encountered at Oakes but would caution anyone to avoid working with Ramzi Alamawi.

This was the best car buying experience, I have ever had! The staff members I met were all polite and helpful, with no uncomfortable sales pressure at all! My salesman, Marion Martinez was amazing every step of the way! He was so accommodating and helpful. Even after the sale he Via FaceTime me and walked me through the many features my new car offered. Dom was amazing! It was a busy Saturday but didn’t make us feel left out since he did have a client before us. He handle us with grace and got us what we came in there for he never pushed us for things we weren’t looking for. He had a young man helping him today and he was equally helpful and friendly. Came in 2 days after my car was deemed a total loss and lacey helped me tremendously in getting into a newer vehicle within my price range. My experience with the dealership was great. When I came in I did not have to wait for someone welcome. They call you special guest and offered a water. Nate came and let me sat on the chair. He prepared the car and I was able to test drive it. I wasn't familiar with the but he was which help me navigate. We drove on the inner roads and the highway which was good cause I really have good feel on the car. We came back to the dealership and talk about how I can purchase. He was pleasant and did not rush me. He gave me the option and nothing was hidden for the things that I have to pay, Explained it to me in a clear and precise manner. It was a done deal. Thanks Nate

Came in to Oakes Kia looking for a sorento on a budget. Lyric was able to fins us the perfect one at only 10 bucks over our budget. Everything was smooth and easy from the test drive to the paperwork. I felt like he did a great job helping us feel comfortable and finding the perfect sorento for our family! Cam Mathis is the guy to see here at Oakes. His helpfulness from beginning to end of the process was bar none. It was my first time buying a vehicle remotely and he made the whole process so easy. Richard Dobbeleare in service took very great care of me. We found out there was a system error with my account but also needed my engine checked. Long story short, I was in a loaner for 40 days while the system error was corrected and received a new engine that fell under warranty. Richard made sure I did not pay a dime for my loaner since the original error was on Kia. While my car was with them, Richard communicated weekly updates with me. Anytime I have to bring my car in for maintenance, I look forward to seeing Richard. His staff is great and working with any one of them is a pleasure!

Well, I bought my car two months ago. The sales lady was great to work with. Take my car in for first oil, change and service department and family and fast. Then when I left, they noticed the small pedal of oil called to bring it back in and fix the filter without even asking or complaining the sub department gave me a free oil change on my VIP package. They have some service.

Working with Bryan was great. He was super personable and made everything super quick and easy! I would 1000% work with Bryan again and recommend anyone I know to work with him! Lyric was very nice and knowledgeable. My only feedback is it felt like meeting with him took forever. It was already 7pm and I sat in his office for over an hour, which made me get home super late in the evening. I feel like the process definitely could be sped up.

Took my 2012 Kia Sportage purchased from a friend for my grandson. Requested recalls (6) be performed and oil change, multipoint inspection and Mo vehicle inspection. We drove all the way to Olathe from Columbia, MO because it was the only dealership we found that had the trim level and color we wanted for our new Sportage. We had several phone calls preceding our visit, and Ryan had everything ready for us to sign and the car was ready to go. Ryan took the time to put the new plates on both the front and back of the car, and went through key features with us. The finance process was a little longer than we expected as Ezra was trying to sell us an extended warranty package, but he was pleasant to work with and respectful of our wishes. Everyone was friendly and easy to work with. The only real problem we had was finding a place to park when we got there! It is a very large, busy dealership.

I am very pleased with Oakes Kia. I have purchased three cars from there in the last six months. The last one I purchased was a replacement for a smaller car that I just wanted a bigger car and purchased a carnivalminivan. Lyric, Chuck, and Meaghan are outstanding. They are not high-pressure and they provide the outstanding customer support that I’m sure Kia expects from them. I feel really comfortable when I’m buying a car dealing with these three as I know that I’m getting a fair deal and they’re not giving me any malarky. I was greeted when I walked in the door with a friendly smile asking how they could help me. When I was interested in test driving a car, a sales person was there shortly to help me. Listened to what I needed and I test drove the Sportage and Sorento a couple times.
