We are so excited for our 2024 Telluride and are very thankful for Karen’s patience and kindness through the process. It took us over 6 months to figure out what we really wanted and finally make the purchase. Karen was so easy to work with and never made me feel bad for changing my mind no less than 5 times. Tellurides have so many trim levels and Karen knew the ins and outs of each very well. She was quick to respond to my many messages and always let me know if something was coming on the lot that might work for us. At one point my husband was ready to drive to STL, but I was not feeling like dealing with anybody other than Karen. Darah was also great in internet sales! I’ve already told my friends if they’re going to Oakes they need Karen!

I want to thank God for the devine intervention that lead me to Drew D and Nick C at Oakes Kia. For the past 3 weeks I felt like I was in a nightmare dealing with another dealership. I was lied to, had my credit applications submitted without my knowledge or approval, was offered vehicles with mechanical issues, and that's not even 1/4 of the issues. I will not name the 8 location dealership, but I will say everything about my experience at Oakes was different. I met Tim first and I mentioned the vehicle I was on the lot looking for and he immediately offered to get it. Tim is not a salesman, he like Drew and Nick dont recieve a commission. Tim helped me out if the kindness of his heart. I don't remember the name of the gentleman that heard my son ask if he could get in a car on the showroom floor. But he quickly opened the door to let him see inside, he also spoke to my 6 year old everything my son saw him and waived. Never once ignoring him. He was not my sales person. I didn't catch the name of the woman with the beautiful sleeve tattoo that spoke to my son on multiple occasions in the 3 or 4 houra we were there. I highlight those interactions because it made a positive impact on my son. I sat with my 3 and 6 year old at the nightmare lot for 3 hours and not one person acknowledged me or my kids. I went to Oakes with my eyes on a 2015 Durango...(if you get it you are lucky that Thang goes. .ok) and left in 2023 Sorento. I couldn't believe it myself. I hugged the guys so tight. They heard me, they listened, and did their best to get me approved for the durango...but worked out a miracle. I waited for the punked cameras that never came. I went to sleep thinking I was dreaming. But I went outside this morning and realized it was all real. Thank you Zach for emailing me... Thank you Drew for making me feel heard and important the moment we met. Thank you for encouraging my son. Thank you for talking to him and identifying with his intellectual gift. Thank you for not giving up. Nick thank you! Thank you for working things out for me beter than I could have imagined. Thank you for getting me brand new car..that I can afford. Thank you for creating a deal that will make it effortless to maintain my vehicle. Thank you Oakes Kia

I also told her I'd look at newer used Souls. Karen found two that met my needs & we went for test drives. All during the time we were driving she was feeding me information about newer electronic/tech feature of that model, the difference between the 2 models I chose & learned a bit about each other as time passed. At no time did I feel pressured into a sale (even though I DID want to buy a car that day). Karen was warm, friendly, congenial, and well informed about the cars we drove. SHE KNEW HER STUFF! When it came time to decide & make the purchase & get an out the door cash price—the whole team was on top of it! Unlike "other dealers" Oakes Kia made the process as painless & as quick as possible. No mind games. No bait and switch. No "extras" on the invoice I did not already know about. What a breath of fresh air! Karen got ALL my questions & concerns answered & very quickly too. Once all the paperwork was complete, car paid for, and I was ready to go—Karen was kind enough to follow me to Enterprise rental to drop off my rental. She went that extra (hundred) mile(s). I live in Columbia Missouri, made the drive all the way to KC as Dominic and his crew offered me a terrific deal on a brand new Kia carnival. The whole crew was top notch. From the people at the front door to the guys from service I met during the visit. They hooked me up with a great car and we discussed several service packages that made sense for our way of driving, while removing those that didn't make sense.
We had some hiccups during the lease end and delivery, but the management team and Dom worked together and coordinated with my wife to find out the best way to solve it, with the help of our Columbia dealer.

The Guys in Oakes Kia Parts allowed me to borrow their lug nut wheel locking key so that I could put non-locking wheel lug nuts on my 2024 Kia Sorento X-Line. I could not find the original wheel locking nut key that came with the car when I bought the car new, nor could I find the code for the original locking key so that I could purchase the correct sized key as a replacement. Thanks so much Guys for understanding my situation and letting me borrow your key locks!!! I will rotate my tires this Friday and promptly return your wheel lock keys. You Guys really worked with me and for that I am extremely grateful!!

This is my 2nd time buying a vehicle from Oakes Kia and it was an amazing experience from start to finish, even after the initial purchase! I worked with Logan Gaynor and he was so kind, very professional, and not at all pushy. They gave me a hell of a deal on my new car, much better of a deal than any other Kia dealership in the area was willing to give me! A few days after buying my new Kia, I had discovered there were a few hail dings on it. No big deal, I figured it was from recent storms in the KC area and it had just not been discovered by the dealership at that point. It happens. So, I messaged Logan and he was prompt in his response and assured me they would take care of it. I went ahead and got an estimate, had the work done to repair the hail dings and sent over the invoice to the dealership. They had a check out to me soon after, no questions asked. This is how you treat a customer! I will be doing business with them again in the future when I'm looking for my next vehicle, without a doubt! 11/10 recommend. Kudos to Logan and Oakes Kia for making me feel like a valued customer.

Very happy with my experience here. Everyone was very friendly in general - not aggressive or pushy like previous dealerships I have been to in the past. Blake and his trainee Brooke were amazing. Blake was juggling multiple things - running around in this awful heat - but still happily filled and got multiple cars for me to test drive and answered all my questions (and questions my husband sent me with haha). They spent a better part of the afternoon with me, making sure I was confident and happy with my decision. To my surprise, Blake encouraged me to test drive a vehicle different than the one I thought I was in love with based on what I described I was looking for, (and my husband actually told me I’d end up in), and curse them both, they were right! Well, I bought my car two months ago. The sales lady was great to work with. Take my car in for first oil, change and service department and family and fast. Then when I left, they noticed the small pedal of oil called to bring it back in and fix the filter without even asking or complaining the sub department gave me a free oil change on my VIP package. They have some service.

Oaks Kia is a welcoming and professional company. They are considerate of the customers wants and needs. For example I had an oil change and tune up on my car. They opened their doors a little early to let me and my baby in to start the check in process. Then proceeded to explain what all that was going to be done and what time it would be done. They also helped me transfer all of my baby items to my husband’s car so we could take my son to daycare. Customer service was so helpful and clear on what was all being done. Took my 2012 Kia Sportage purchased from a friend for my grandson. Requested recalls (6) be performed and oil change, multipoint inspection and Mo vehicle inspection. We drove all the way to Olathe from Columbia, MO because it was the only dealership we found that had the trim level and color we wanted for our new Sportage. We had several phone calls preceding our visit, and Ryan had everything ready for us to sign and the car was ready to go. Ryan took the time to put the new plates on both the front and back of the car, and went through key features with us. The finance process was a little longer than we expected as Ezra was trying to sell us an extended warranty package, but he was pleasant to work with and respectful of our wishes. Everyone was friendly and easy to work with. The only real problem we had was finding a place to park when we got there! It is a very large, busy dealership.

Ryan was professional, knowledgable and patient. Was not considering a hybrid, but with his slight convincing, we are glad we did. I was amazed at how Ryan was able to work multiple deals and still took care of our needs. Undoubtably it was because of Ryan that we purchased our first Kia. We have purchased 7 Hondas since 2001. With Ryan's superior knowledge of the product and his experience in the Auto sales industry we are grateful to have him as our salesperson.

I am very pleased with Oakes Kia. I have purchased three cars from there in the last six months. The last one I purchased was a replacement for a smaller car that I just wanted a bigger car and purchased a carnivalminivan. Lyric, Chuck, and Meaghan are outstanding. They are not high-pressure and they provide the outstanding customer support that I’m sure Kia expects from them. I feel really comfortable when I’m buying a car dealing with these three as I know that I’m getting a fair deal and they’re not giving me any malarky. I will highly recommend Oakes Kia to other individuals and ask that they see Chuck, Lyric and Meaghan. Truly outstanding group of people to work with and I’ve gone and had service their twice for oil changed already and that has been excellent also.
