The Nissan Z comes in three possible trims: Sport, Performance and Proto Spec. All trims are powered by the same 400 horsepower 3L turbocharged V6 and a choice of 6-speed manual or 9-speed automatic transmissions sending power to the rear wheels. The EPA combined fuel economy is 20 mpg, with 24 mpg on the highway.
Underneath, the Nissan Z's suspension uses double wishbones in front and a multi-link setup in back, all kept under close control with stabilizer bars and sport-tuned shocks. Grip is tremendous and balanced thanks to standard 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with staggered-width summer performance tires.
